12 Social Media Tips by Go MojiLife

1.) GO LIVE- In a relationship business, there is NO substitute for being with someone in person, but with the technology of today the closest thing is live streaming. People want to see the product, the opportunity, but most of all… YOU. Remember, they “buy” you before anything else. YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook all have live streaming and so what are you waiting for?

2.) If you are too apprehensive or can’t go live, create more video content. Prerecord and post. Video is increasingly important for potential prospects to engage with you and your business.

3.) Make your marketing efforts more focused! You have 3 seconds to “slow the scroll” when someone is navigating thru their newsfeed. Make them count! Be precise and creative in your branding. Remember, you aren’t trying to convert them with the post, only trying to capture their attention.

4.) Tap into the influencer marketing trend. Maybe you know someone who isn’t interested in signing up with MojiLife yet, but they have a large social media following? Approach them about tagging you or “shouting out” your business. Make a deal! Maybe you have an AirMoji from hostess rewards that you can reward them with for reviewing the product and sending their contacts to YOU?

5.) Take note! Document the posts that you have the most interaction, engagement, and positive results. Analyzing the success ratio of what you promote and duplicating what works is key. Remember, this business isn’t easy, but it is simple. Sometimes so is the strategy that will appeal to your contacts. Identify it and repeat it.

6.) Make it yours! Even if you share something from the company or from me, throw your web store address on the image, link your website, add your custom hashtags, but original content is King.

7.) Make it people AND computer friendly. One or two primary hashtags are appropriate in your main content, but don’t overload it making it impossible to read for the target “human” audience. If you are posting in Instagram or Facebook and you want to harness the power of hashtags, list them as your first comment. The social media search engine gives them the same value, but you will keep cleaner and more effective content.

8.) Take it direct. Never engage with an interested person publicly. That will quench the curiosity of the “voyeur” types who may be looking in. You can never answer someone’s private questions or concerns to the satisfaction of EACH individual if you try to do so on a public forum. Newsfeed is for promotion and social media messengers are for conversion.

9.) Be you! Your style, personality, and approach is probably why your connected with the prospects on social media in the first place. Deliver accurate company information and representation, but deliver it with your signature.

10.) The golden rule applies to social media. Do unto others as you would have done unto you. If you don’t love being added to the same groups without consent… over and over again, likely your prospects won’t either. Invite, share, and promote with passion, but the best partners aren’t forced or coerced… they are invited.

11.) Share your best content at the best times! Did you know that their was a study done and the primary window of opportunity for social media platforms are:

-Google+ 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. EST
-Facebook 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST
-Twitter, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST
-Instagram, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST
-Pinterest, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST

12.) Share, share, and share again. Often we are our own worst critics when we feel like we are “over-sharing.” The algorithms for these social media platforms are such that often only 25% of your contacts see your content on a regular basis! That means you have to post consistently, at the right times, and on the right platforms to gain audience with the other 75%. The other 25% will forgive you, unfollow you, or maybe just JOIN YOU!

Enjoy Every Moment!
